Skilled Cabinetmaker The ideal candidate for our Skilled Cabinetmaker position is detail-oriented, collaborative, and takes pride in creating lasting work. They’ll have hands-on experience across all stages of milling, fabrication, and assembly. Thoughtful communication, efficiency, and a willingness to jump in and learn new systems wherever needed are essential. Must be able to work to tight tolerances. Minimum 3-5 years of custom fabrication experience required.
Installation Lead Our installation team is tasked with ensuring Block Brothers quality is carried through into the field. We’re looking for someone who can handle complex site layouts, cut perfect scribes, and represent our company well on high end job sites. Positions available in Midcoast and Southern Maine. 3-5+ years of finish carpentry or cabinet installation experience required.
Installation Apprentice The Installation Apprentice assists the installation team while learning hands-on cabinetry installation techniques, tools, and processes. This role is ideal for someone starting a career in the trade and seeking mentorship and is looking for a dynamic entry-level position. You bring basic skills and a good attitude and we’ll train for the rest.
Sanding/Finishing Support Specialist An entry-level role well suited for someone with a keen eye for detail and a drive for perfection in their work. This is a chance to get a foot in the door, work alongside skilled and thoughtful mentors, and bring immediate value to our team. A perfect starting point for someone making a career change and looking to explore the world of cabinetmaking. A good attitude and work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliability are essential; previous experience is not.
